Fr. Juan Carlos Morales Tejada was born on September 25, 1985, in San Jose Villanueva, Department of La Libertad, in the Republic of El Salvador. He joined the Seminary in 2004. He finshed Philosophy studies at the Higher Institute of Ecclesiastical Studies (ISEE) in Mexico City in 2008. In the same year, he continued priestly formation at Assumption Seminary and theological studies in San Antonio, Texas. He culminated his Master in Divinity at Oblate School of Theology, and his Ecclesiastical Bachelor of Theology from St. Paul University in Ottawa, Canada, in 2016.
He was ordained a catholic priest on June 18, 2016, in his home town in El Salvador. His first priestly assignment was at San Fernando Cathedral as Associate Pastor, and currently he is Pastor/Administrator of St. Timothy Church since July 1, 2018. On February 27, 2023 Fr. Juan Carlos was incardinated to the Archdiocese of San Antonio.
